This study explores the relationship between Vocational and Technological Education (VTE) and social movements, focusing on the interactions between IFB - Campus Planaltina and the Pequeno Willian Settlement, especially in the context of school cultures. The main objective is to provide a synthesis of this relationship based on the perceptions of subjects from both social contexts, through a comparative analysis of the institutional documents of IFB, including the PDI at a general level, and local documents from Campus Planaltina, such as the PPCs and TCCs from the Technology in Agroecology Course. Additionally, the study aims to systematize theories on VTE, social movements, and Oral History, as well as develop the Digital Oral History Bank website as a repository for the memory of IFB Campus Planaltina and the Pequeno Willian Settlement. The research is positioned in the field of the History of Education, using the tenets of Cultural History, analyzing in a dialogical manner the seven collected interviews and other documents mobilized for the construction of this historiographical narrative. For the methodological treatment of oral and written documents, Oral History and historical document analysis were used, respectively. The results reveal that the relationship between VTE and social movements is complex, with accounts of institutional transformations and tensions with the settlement, highlighting the cultural shock during the transition from the agricultural school to IFB and the adaptation difficulties. There are also perspectives of rapprochement and collaboration between IFB and the Pequeno Willian Settlement.
